“Identify the frontlines within us and bear down with love.”

- adrienne maree brown

Most of us have a sense of that place inside that we can’t quite access. Perhaps it is blocked by fear, shame, doubt or numbness. Perhaps it has been elusive for so long we hardly trust that it’s still there, or ever was.

I believe, with utter confidence, in the existence of this place inside each one of us.

This place is home to a wisdom we need, to essential parts of ourselves ready to be welcomed home, to a felt sense of joy, pleasure, and freedom aching to reoccupy our bodies.

To get there, we need to bear down with love.

Not the sentimental, saccharine kind of love.

I’m talking about love.

The ferocious, wide, and steady kind of love that is ready to be our unconditional witness. Love like a redwood tree, or an ocean, or the night sky. A love that is unafraid.

I am here to cultivate that love with you;

to lend you my loving presence when you can’t find it in yourself. I am here to walk with you to the frontlines, and to bear down with love. I am here to accompany you all the way to that indestructible place inside of you that is awaiting your return.
